With the success of our first event at Loon Mountain a year prior, we had high expectations for our second event, but mother nature had a different agenda and rained on our parade. Nothing unusual for an March day on the East Coast and the New Hampshire buzzards didn’t seem to care. Clothed in trash bags, riders weathered the storm with a smile on their face and even though the forecast scared away some of the competition, we had some amazing riding from the local legends. Thanks to Vans and our other supporters, our afterparty was where things warmed up. We raffled off a Joel Tudor surfboard, Christian Hosoi Hammerhead and a Steve Van Doren signed guitar among many more. Thanks again to the incredible Lin-Wood skatepark committee and the supportive community, we ended the day raising over $14,000 towards the soon to be built skatepark! We look forward to the completion of the park and getting to skate it soon!
